Made of ultra-light CNC machined billet aluminum! Standard Kawasaki Gas Caps weigh 13.2 oz, while Slingshot Racing Gas Caps weigh only 6.7 oz. This gas cap is ready for mounting as soon as you receive it (that means no additional parts). All you need are basic garage tools and three mounting screws from the original gas cap.   Two rubber o-ring are provided.  Some Kawasaki models require two rubber o-rings for installation, while others only require one rubber o-ring for installation.  Happy Ebaying!!! All SSR gas caps arrive to you with the threads pre-greased with Mobil 1 Red Synthetic-Grease (provides excellent resistance to water & gasoline).   We recommend re-greasing the threads with Mobil1 Synthetic-Grease when needed (about every 3 - 12 months, depending on usage).
