How do I install the kickstand?

1) Carefully place the bike on a rear stand and remove the lower belly fairing.
2) Use a spring hook tool to remove the spring from the kickstand BEFORE removing the kickstand bracket. (Note the orientation of the spring bracket that attaches to the backside of the kickstand bracket.)
3) Loosen the two kickstand bolts on the backside of the kickstand bracket.
4) Remove the kickstand switch, stopper, and kickstand bracket.
5) Remove the stock kickstand from the bracket.
6) Install the new kickstand onto the stock kickstand bracket and reattach the kickstand switch.
7) Install the kickstand unit back onto the bike and reinstall the two bolts using a tread locker (medium strength).
8) Put the kickstand back in up the position and reattach spring/spring bracket.
8) Test the functioning of kickstand while on the rear stand, ensuring the bolt/nut are secure.
