- Every great idea always starts with a simple thought. For us, it all started with two very enthusiastic motorcyclists. The thought came one day after a long ride in the Mountains of Northern California. Like all good motorcyclists do, we stood there by our bikes at the local parking lot to discuss the day's events. During our conversation, one thing led to another and it dawned on us that today's aftermarket parts were too expensive. Like many riders, we desired to turn our bikes into something a world champ would ride but lacked the finances to do so. And that was when we asked ourselves, "Why can't there be a company out there that makes high-quality aftermarket parts for a reasonable price?" That very question led to the creation of The Slingshot Racing Corporation.
